Our client is a leading global investment banking firm providing a full array of financial services
Responsibilities
*Act as an HR Consultant to the respective client group. The successful candidate will report to the Head of HR in Japan and will also have regional reporting lines
*Provide HR consultancy support to senior management within the business – to improve the capability of the organization
*Work with specialist HR teams across the region to deliver a range of HR services to the business. Specifically, compensation policy; recruitment services; diversity and training
*Manage HR risk and control for the IBD businesses
*Appropriately deal with complex employee relations issues (hiring, termination, transfers, maternity, disability)
*Ensure effective implementation of HR processes effectively across the Client Group, on issues of, annual promotion processes; annual performance review processes; annual compensation processes
Requirements
*Strong relationship management experience and ability to interact with all levels of employees
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
*Ability to develop, implement and drive HR strategy aligned to business goals
*Employee relations expertise
Additional Notes
This position will pay an annual base salary of 12-18 million yen plus discretionary bonus depending on skills and qualifications
