Responsibilities

Primary Function:
The main function of the position is to translate various marketing related documents from English to Japanese and Japanese to English. Also the person is to verbally translate communication between CMO / other English speakers and Japanese clients / Japanese staff members.

Other responsibilities include:
*Translate various materials such as medical documents, underwriting rules, presentation materials, insurance terms and conditions, product information, market information and any other materials for marketing and as well as internal communication purposes.
*Work closely with other temporary translators and marketing support staff to accomplish required translation in good quality and efficient manner.
*Attend internal & external meeting to provide language support (English – Japanese, Japanese-English translation)

Requirements

* Advanced level English
* Bachelors degree
* Professional Skills of translating both in verbal and written
* PC skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience of working in a company.
* Team oriented
* Highly organized (respect for deadlines)

Preferred Experience

* Knowledge of life Insurance and medical field
Whispering or simultaneous translation skills
