Responsibilities

Position Objective
* The primary responsibility is efficient development and execution of HR strategies for flagship store and outlet stores in various locations.
* Act as a HR partner for organization development to enhance efficient employees'performances.
* Develop and implement HR programs, policies and processes for change management and organization development.

Scope
* To provide operational HR support to the GM and his team.
* To contribute to and support key business objectives, by developing our organizational capability as a competitive advantage and ensuring that a winning culture is in place.
* To implement and maintain HR processes e.g. recruitment, performance management, organization and people planning, reward and recognition strategies, learning and development.
* Support the VP HR, Asia Pacific & Japan as required in leading and implementation of Regional HR projects across the organization.

The key accountabilities of the position can be summarized and grouped as follows
* Strategic HR leadership
Planning and formulating short to medium term HR strategies and policies for retail operations to attract and retain the right caliber of employees. Closing the talent gap and creating strong employee engagement will be critical for the long-term success of the business. Developing and communicating HR vision and strategies, in particular in the areas of organization development, management development and performance management, as well as participating in the business decision-making process and providing input in terms of people management

Requirements

* Education: Degree from qualified University
*Personal qualities: Results oriented, Strong business acumen, well-developed coaching skills. high integrity, excellent interpersonal & communication, strong analytical thinking, cultural sensitivity Asian/Western culture
* Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of HR experience gained in a foreign company
* High proficiency in English and Japanese
* Functional skills: Employee Relations, Performance Management, HRIS utilization, Project Planning & Management, Resource management (Recruitment)

Preferred Experience

* Experience in retail is preferable
