Company Description

Responsibilities

Overview of Role:
The GL associate is responsible for overseeing the transactions recorded in the GL each month. The GL associate will support the Senior Manager and work with department team members to ensure that transactions are recorded in completely and accurately each month. The GL associate will work closely with the Senior Manager to help ensure that the monthly reports are prepared and distributed to stakeholders.

Detailed Responsibilities:
*Period-End Closing Process
-Oversee the period-end closing activities to ensure that activities are completed, reviewed and properly documented.
-Review monthly reconciliations to ensure that balance sheet accounts are clearly documented and reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner
-Ensure that filing completely updated each month.
-Coordinating with AP and AR staffers
*Account Analysis
-Reconciliation Review
-Fixed asset review
-Accrual Review
-PL Account Review
*Support the development and refinement of key accounting policies and procedures
*Support the annual external audit and the external tax providers with the preparation of supporting schedules for standard reports as required.
*Regulatory reporting
-Annual financial statement
-Corporate income tax, consumption tax, and enterprise tax filing
-Depreciable asset tax filing
*Daily cash management

Requirements

* 5 or more years of accounting experience
* Self starter and team player
* Ability to work independently at times
* Good communication skills
* English skills are preferred
* TK, TMK, SPC knowlege is preferred

Preferred Experience

*Solid accounting experience and knowledge of TK/TMK structures would be ideal
