European Consumer Goods Sales Manager needed with a track record of success
Company Description
Our client is a world leading European Fast Moving Consumer Goods Companies who have experienced double digit growth in each of the past 5 years in Japan
Responsibilities
* Manage the local field sales team within a specified division for the category as Shavers and/or Other products;
* Strategic planning: set up commercial objectives and business plans per customer and define clearly commercial budgets fully in line with the company sales policy;
* Set up clear, individual targets in line with the company objectives and sales policy;
* Motivate and challenge the team thanks to a accurate and close follow up of the personal targets;
* Coach and support on the field during field accompaniments on a regular base (at least once a month) in order to evaluate and monitor performances;
* Analyze team performance and individual results, identify market/customer needs and determine a challenging strategy for the field sales team together with clear action plans;
* Coordinate between Key Account management and Marketing and set up priorities towards the field sales team;
* Develop customer partnerships based on product expertise and trade management together with Marketing for different categories;
* Budget planning & reporting: monitor customer budgets as Year End Rebate and BDF of all Key Accounts and coordinate the overall reporting towards HQ Asia;
* Provide support and information regarding international accounts towards the Sales Director at HQ Asia;
* Optimize sales areas and routings (analyze number of visits, visit frequencies, weight of sales areas, etc.) and define a clear routing-system for each team member linked with targets;
Requirements
* University degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in people management;
* FMCG experience
* Knowledge of the market and the customers;
* Experience in category management is an asset;
* Business and result oriented with proven coaching skills;
* Able to set up clear and stimulating sales targets and motivate people to achieve these targets;
* Sense of priority, well structured and organized;
* Ready to deal with a lot of reporting and administrative work;
* Respecting procedures and processes;
* Stress resistant;
* Able to work autonomously;
* Knowledge of English and native level Japanese are a must
Preferred Experience
*Comsumer goods and at least 5 years sales management experience
