Responsibilities

*The main function of this person will be to formulate, communicate and execute an HR vision and strategy to ensure that the company has the organizational capability to meets its current & future needs and which is in alignment with the company
*The position reports to the president directly, with a dotted reporting line to APAC HR leadership
*This position strategically manages all HR and GA functions, but it will also be hands-on and require a functional knowledge of evaluation systems, performance management, labor law, and employee relations

Requirements

*Strong business accumen
*A degree or diploma in a Human Resources or business related discipline
*In addition, a Master of Business (MBA) from a recognized institution is preferred
*A minimum of five years management experience
*Good interpersonal skills for communication and negotiation
*Good time management and planning skills even for administration/clerical tasks
*Meticulous record keeping skills
*Understanding of the company HR and Payroll system
*Knowledge of employment awards, laws and legislation
*Experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred, though not required
*Fluent English and Business level English

Preferred Experience

*Highly strategic human resources management experience including company restructuring and organizational planning
*Experience as a playing manager
