Senior Planning Engineer Position at a dynamic international company with a product portfolio spanning both wireless and wireline network equipment

Company Description

A dynamic international company with a product portfolio spanning both wireless and wireline network equipment, the company encompasses six business units: broadband access, IP transport, operation support systems, radio access, service core and applications, and services.

Responsibilities

* Network audit with corresponding analysis
* Network design and dimensioning
* Possibility to lead a project team with responsibility to create plans and delegate tasks to team members
* Optimize and assure Operators' service-related performance in order to gain the end user satisfaction.
* Assesse and optimize the network performance and installed base stations
* Advanced management solutions for identification and visualization of decision making KPIs supporting working processes in Operator organizations
* Work to develop capability, e.g. is able to create and prepare design and/or optimization guideline documentation
* Perform critical (sometimes escalated) design and performance activities in customer projects independently. These may include complex problem solving in projects with performance requirements and multi-vendor environment
* Link customer requests/needs to the services and service development (solution consultant primary interface) Win Together/Build communities
* Deliver advanced network design and performance training
* Organizing field Measurements and laboratory tests

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years experience in 3G system consulting and service optimizations
* Customer Focus/Problem Solving/Seeking and sharing knowledge/Result Orientation and Responsibility/Team Player

Preferred Experience

* Planning Engineering experience

* Good communication skills in both Japanese and English
