Overview

Company Description

*Our client is an American software company with a small but stable operation in Japan, established in 1989, and have about 25 staff in total
*They are looking for a candidate with good English skills and experience in US GAAP based revenue recognition for the software industry to join their team

Responsibilities

*Report to General Affairs & Administration Director
*Work closely with sales on revenue recognition issues and communicate with the corporate finance in Singapore
*Revenue analysis
*Support Customer Service team
*Manage AR function
*Revenue adjustment related to inventory, rebates, etc.
*Manage intercompany transactions
*Support payroll function
*Liaise for audit & SOX related issues
*Prepare financial reports
*Review deferred revenue

Requirements

*Experience with US GAAP based revenue recognition
*Business level English skills
*Native level Japanese language skills
*3+ years experience in accounting
*Boki 2 or similar qualification preferred
