Fixed Income Middle Office in a leading global securities firm!

Company Description

My client is a leading global securities firm with a stable but growing presence in the Tokyo market and Asia-Pacific region. They are looking for a pro-active, bilingual candidate with strong knowledge of Trade Support/Middle Office functions to join their international team on the Fixed Income side.

Responsibilities

*Handle daily ticket processing and FO/BO reconciliation processes for the arbitrage and flow swaps desks
*Update sensitive procedures related to the Trade Support team activities
*Improve and control quality of data input
*Act independently of the traders and sales people to add value and raise issues wherever necessary
*Respect and fascilitate operation’s control procedures and transversal processes
*Reporting to related P/L and Trade Support teams for amendments
*Team members must carry out their duties with due care required to adhere to required standards within the allocated time period while ensuring quality
*Perform back-up for Foreign Bonds Sales including daily ticket processing, drafting of pre-confirmations and sending of pre-confirmation to clients
*Work closely with the FO to ensure quality service is given to both internal and external clients

Requirements

*In-depth knowledge of fixed income instruments or other relevant products
*Strong Excel skills with potential to develop further in the future
*Good communication skills for both internal and external clients
*Pro-activity, reliability and flexibililty
*Relevant experience in a financial firm in Japan

Preferred Experience

*JSDA qualifications preferred
