They have been in Japan nearly 75 years and have a strong operation both in Kanto and Kansai.

Responsibilities

*Independent responsibility to implement Commodity Strategies and relevant tactics for the assigned region
*Use their knowledge and expertise in their regional area to suggest alternatives and give their perspectives
*Develop and communicate supplier market and purchasing scenario analysis
*Unique responsibility to engage in supplier approval & development
*Use initiative to develop the assigned region and work with the Commodity Managers and Directors worldwide
*Work with suppliers for direct and in-direct materials covering a wide range of products and areas

Requirements

*University graduate
*Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing or business development in manufacturing

Preferred Experience

*Advanced level Japanese & English
