Purchasing leader position at Major foreign food company

Company Description

Our client is a well known in over 25 countries across the globe. With their passion for creating high quality products they have been a leader in their industry for over 100 years.

Responsibilities

* This position reports to the financial controller and the Sourcing Manager Asia.
* Establish purchasing structure for a factory
* Once factory becomes operational, carry on the ongoing purchasing responsibilities.
* Negotiate with suppliers on purchases
* Liaise with supply chain department / planning to issue purchase order with suppliers
* Responsible for creating and updating purchase contracts in Information system.
* Assist in the selection and approval of new suppliers

Requirements

* At least 2 years of related experience in purchasing or trading function, preferably within multinationals.
* English communication skill (oral and written)
* Result oriented mind
* Good negotiation skills

Preferred Experience

* Experience in food industry
