Company Description

My client is a small but growing foreign commercial bank with a stable history in Japan. They are looking for an exeprienced and dependable operations manager to play a key role for future expansion.

Responsibilities

*Settlements and operations for Fixed Income, Equities, SWAPs, F/X and Money Market
*Operations responsibilities include custody, collateral management, reconcilliation, regulatory reporting, etc.
*Close interaction and supervision of global and regional offices in their correspondence to Japan operations business
*Nostro control
*Static data control
*Client services including account maintenance, monthly statements, etc.
*Management of corporate and individual loans
*Management of 1 operations staff

Requirements

*Minimum of 5 years relevant settlements experience in a financial institution; bank experience strongly preferred
*Good IT skills including Access and Excel; MIDAS exposure preferred
*Good team player and willing to help others out
*Native-level Japanese with English fluency
*Motivated to work in a small, family-like environment
*Experience in home loans is a plus
