Responsibilities

*A unique opportunity to be part of a business unit (rather than IT) and work with Risk Managers and Financial Engineers

*Provide first-level application development/support to a number of applications; conduct problem solving and version upgrades while coordinating with IT Dept. and other business units in the region

*Analyze data import/export requirement of several systems; develop data interface for systems integration

*If needed, work on business/technical analysis, project coordination and tools development

*Join the DB project and in the process use or learn the following: Data Model, physical schema, GUI and Webserver

Requirements

*Support, development and enhancement experience in any of the following environments: investment/commercial bank, asset/fund management. Basic financial product knowledge (including bonds, futures, options, interest rate swaps, etc)
*Strong development skills in Oracle DB, (dotNet).Net, C#
*Has worked in full life-cycle of systems projects
*Good written and spoken English skills (Japanese skills are not required)

Preferred Experience

*Experience or skills in the following would be a big plus: Informatica Power Center, MS IIS Web Server, Strong C++ coding experience
