Company Description
This company rules with its precision-control components and systems used in aerospace products and industrial machinery. The company makes a variety of precision control components and systems used in aircraft, industrial machinery, satellites, and space vehicles. Servoactuators, its core product, receive electrical signals from computers and then perform specific actions. Using its servoactuators, it builds flight and control systems for commercial and military aircraft, hydraulic and electrical controls for plastic-injection and blow-molding machines, and control systems for satellites and spacecraft.
Responsibilities
*Work as an Application Engineer for Generation Applications (gas, steam, wind turbines), in the Engineering Department, reporting to the Engineering Manager for industrial Applications Engineering .
*Design & develop standard & turn-key solutions for Power Generation applications, improving customer's turbine performance (productivity, precision, speed, repeatability, efficiency, quality, reliability) based on hydraulic & electro-mechaninal acturation & control technology
Requirements
*Mechanical or Electrical (Control) Engineering Degree qualification
*At least 5 years in designing/developing systems for Power Generation applications(gas, steam, wind turbines), or as an end user of such systems in the Power Generation industry
*General awareness of power generation industry and machinery requirements, and an ability to initiate the development of solutions to address market needs
*Direct experience and knowledge of closed loop control and/or actuation system design for the poser generation industry
Preferred Experience
*Knowledge of various power transmission elements and mechanisms, with education and experience in the design, analysis and development of complex electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical servomechanisms.
Desired Traits
*Good computer skills: MS Office, MS project, Mathcad, Matlab, ANSYS for analytical modeling
*knowledgeable & comfortable discussing technical requirements with customers in both Japanese & English (good communication skills in English are preferred)
