Company Description

This firm serves millions of consumers in the United States and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients

Responsibilities

*Assist in all aspects of audits including risk assessments, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, report drafting and follow up and verification of issue closure

*Ensure audits are performed to professional standards and departmental procedures and within deadlines

*Partner with Business Auditors to ensure that there is an integrated approach to audit coverage

*Partner with other line of business IT Auditors in Tokyo

*Partner with colleagues, stakeholders and control community members

*Develop and maintain business relationships to monitor changes in the control environment

*Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends

Requirements

*A minimum of 5 years Audit or relevant working experience, preferably with good technical knowledge of UNIX and Sybase
*CISA or professional certification preferred
*Undergraduate degree or equivalent
*Ability to analyze and evaluate the adequacy of application processing controls
*Solid understanding of internal control concepts and strong analytical skills
*Experience in the Asset Management industry preferred, but not essential
*Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility
*Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with minimal direction

Preferred Experience

*Ability to speak and read Japanese preferable *Strong written and verbal communication skills
