Company Description

Our client is a world-wide manufacturer servicing the automotive and telecommunication markets

*Around 14,000 staff world-wide with around 300 staff in Japan
*Good market presence across 3 industries
*9 - 10 staff in the Accounting / Finance department
*Convenient office location off of the JR Yamanote line

Responsibilities

*Responsible for monthly closing and consolidated accounting for overseas
subsidiary
*Manage 4-6 staff
*Work closely with Japan Controller to provide forecast and business analysis
*Prepare the necessary documents for monthly regular review meeting with AP HQs. (B/S, P/L, CF, Forecast etc.)

Requirements

*Good experience in finance division at manufacturing company
*Deep knowledge of standard cost accounting and analytical ability
*Having experience of cost variance analysis is “must”
*Has general knowledge of US GAAP
*Has general knowledge of corporation tax
*Must be fluent in Japanese and English
*Experience of handling accounting audit (preferred)
*Team player
*Has no restriction for overtime work
*PC skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
