A highly stable and friendly commodities company with less than 50 people in Japan is seeking a qualified accounting manager to report to the Japan CFO.

Responsibilities

*Maintain general ledgers and journal entries
*Monthly closing and timely reporting
*Monitor sales and cost progress
*Establish the company budget and provide variance analysis
*Provide corporate income tax return and ensure prepayment
*Supervise a team of 2 accountants

Requirements

*5 to 10 years of experience with accounting
*3 to 5 years experience managerial experience preferred

* Applicable Experience:
*Knowledge of US GAAP

* Reason for opening: Replacement due to Internal Transfer

* Desired Attributes:
-High level of English communication is highly preferred

* Remuneration: 7 to 10 Million Yen
