Senior Business Analyst position

Company Description

This company is an ambitious and varied leading global retail brand

Responsibilities

*Take part in applications implementation projects, develop current application systems and provide application support
*Work with the business applications team and vendor staff in implementing new systems to aid business performance
*Communicate with business users and enhance and develop current systems in line with business requirements
*Provide local and global applications systems support for escalated issues
*Analyze current business processes for Japan HQ and report back to the IT team
*Train business users in using the new IT systems
*Suggest new, or redesign existing IT systems and processes to improve the company's productivity and profitability

Requirements

*Excellent communication skills with fluent Japanese and business level English
*At least 3 years of experience with business applications or as an applications engineer
*A general understanding of business processes in retail or consumer goods is highly advantageous

Preferred Experience

*Experience with package software such as Oracle DB, ERP systems, CRM, Business Intelligence desired but not required

Desired Traits

*Excellent communication skills in Japanese and business level English
