Internal Auditor in a leading firm

Company Description

One of the largest international banking networks,with strong positions in Asia and a significant presence in the United States, this European bank has operations in nearly 90 countries. The company and its many subsidiaries specialize in retail banking, corporate and investment banking, and asset management.

Responsibilities

*Apply best practices global methodology for audit coverage of fixed income and equity portfolio management and trading, alternative investments, core operations and compliance related audits
*Conduct internal audit missions as a part of mission members or sometime conduct missions by supervising other mission members

Requirements

*A desirable candidate to possess working experience as an auditor at other(foreign) financial institutions, audit firms for minimum 3years
*Candidate from other files (product control, operations, risk controls and etc) industries will be considered depending on her/his moving motivation to this internal audit
*Good knowledge of local regulations as well as financing/capital markets businesses/products is required
*Candidate is expected to conduct internal audit missions as a part of mission members or sometime conduct missions by supervising other mission members
*Good knowledge of the related IT aspects and/or market risk concepts is plus
*Professional qualification eg CIA or CISA is preferable
*Experience in US-SOX or J-SOX implementation is preferable
*Has good critical thinking, problem solving skills and analysis skills are required
*Non-Japanese candidate is considered as long as s/he possesses basic Japanese language capability (speaking and listening)

Preferred Experience

*Experience in US-SOX or J-SOX implementation

Desired Traits

*Has good communication skills-expresses views/opinions clearly and logically both orally and in writing
*Good command of oral/writing English is mandatory.
