Dividend Estimation and Index Tracking role in one of the largest international banking networks

Company Description

One of the largest international banking networks, with strong positions in Asia and a significant presence in the United States, this European bank has operations in nearly 90 countries. The company and its many subsidiaries specialize in retail banking, corporate and investment banking, and asset management.

Responsibilities

* Update the dividends (current or past adjustment if any) for all stocks in in-house market data system, MDS
* Make estimation the dividends on the JPY stocks using the earning results, financial analysis, Bloomberg , DADD, Histo Japan file
* Calculate and simulate the forward impact and Dividend Index Point (DIP).
*Calculate and Update the NK225 DIPs in-house-system
* Update the indices composition and divisor for 16 indices
* Make simulation for JPY Indexes when there are any weight changes, in-out stocks or so on.
* Manage the reports issued from brokers regarding JPY indexes reshuffle estimation.
* Liaise Exchange for any information related to the Indexes
* Provide the corporate action information appropriate timing and contents using TMI, TSE web site and supplementary sources like Bloomberg, Reuters
* Answer Front, Middle or Equities Back Office, other locations request on corporate actions
* Follow up ADR listed in NYSE, NASDAQ (dividends, CA etc.)
* Find out the earning announcement schedule and follow up the earning results.
* Calculate the futures prices and inform the traders and PL team.
* Maintenance of MDS to set up new stocks, modification of dividends, update divisor, composition of index, closing prices etc.
* Manage the name registration for the stocks restricted owned by foreigners
* Liaise with different offices globally

Requirements

*Ideally, 3+ years work experience in Finance
*Working experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar financial software
*Ability to work and deliver timely results in a fast-paced environment
*University degree

*Strong research and analytical skills
