Company Description
This company is a global pharmaceutical producer
Responsibilities
*Lead vendor supplied staff in providing infrastructure services for company sites both within Japan and within the region
*Act as a liaison between service support resources and local/regional site business users/leaders
*Service Delivery department responsibilities include the following: problem identification, change, configuration and release management
*Analyze requirements and ensure that vendor resources meet contracted support/delivery obligations and adhere to appropriate processes
*Communicate service responsibilities, capabilities and limitations to local business leaders and manage requests for service changes
Requirements
*In depth IT service management experience, particularly in infrastructure
*Experience managing large numbers of IT staff, preferably with varied responsibilities
*Knowledge of IT service business requirements and how to implement support services effectively
*Knowledge of industry best practices (notably ITIL) and the use of appropriate measurement techniques
*Experience managing vendors and excellent negotiation skills
*ITIL and quality (ISO Six Sigma etc) qualifications desirable but not required
