Project Controller for a global Telecommunications giant
This global company is a 50% joint venture and exploding into the Telecommunications market. With a product portfolio spanning both wireless and wireline network equipment, the company encompasses six business units: broadband access, IP transport, operation support systems, radio access, service core and applications, and services
Responsibilities
* Supports Head of a Services Region/Subregion in all financial related matters including financial target setting, performance evaluation, decision support and key change programs.
* Secures accurate revenue recognition and reliable updates of the project cost baseline
Controls, reports and plans all project sales, costs, gross margin and inventory (including resource planning).
* Identifies and flags risks impacting project margin, proposing corrective actions including accrual bookings and needed provisions. Manages claim processes.
* Monitors the use of subcontractors & contractors and controlling partner expenses.
* Supports CT F&C in project level volume planning and entering those into the related value/volume planning tools.
* Maintains the project PoC accounting calculation.
* Interfaces with logistics to secure deliveries and order & invoice correctness.
* Creates and maintains contracts in SAP R3.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of financial management and management accounting
* Knowledgeable about the industry and related regulation
* Good knowledge of NSN F&C concepts, processes and tools
* Applicable Experience:
* Strong experience in planning and business analysis
* Experience with contract management, financial terms and conditions
