*Exciting role as Finance Manager in international real estate advisory company
Company Description
*Our client is a private equity real estate investment advisory company providing top level services to global investors
*Due to continued expansion of the firm there is a need for a Senior Corporate Finance Manager to manage the growing team in Tokyo and connect the Japan business with the Hong Kong regional office and the launch of new Opportunity Fund
Responsibilities
*Director report line to Regional Financial Controller in Hong Kong
-Financial and Accounting Operations
*Financial analysis of operation activity
*Assist in preparing annual business plan
*Prepare financial budgets and track against actual results
*Prepare and provide monthly financial reporting
-Tax and Compliance
*Assist Asia Controller with transfer pricing issues, ensuring compliance on an ongoing basis
*Manage the preparation of financial accounts and tax returns and submissions
*Involvement with corporate governance
*Manage internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance
-Financial Systems
*Ensure an effective Sun FMIS control environment exists, paying particular attention to automated payment systems and interfaces with banks
Requirements
*Demonstrated experience and achievement in financial accounting in a financial institution, fund and/or real estate environment
*Strong FMIS capabilities, Sun experience preferable, but not essential
*Ability to read, write and speak in English at a professional level
*Japan/International tax and accounting standards experience
*Exceptional Excel skills and knowledge
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Advanced reporting and presentations capability, experienced dealing with senior executives
*Involvement with corporate governance
*Tertiary qualifications required - economics/commerce
*Professional qualifications in accountancy
