Head of Market Operations in a financed firm
The firm is active in over 50 countries and offers a wide range of investment banking and corporate banking services, including mergers and acquisitions advice; equity, debt and derivatives sales and underwriting; and foreign exchange trading.
Responsibilities
Ensures that all the operations of Market Operations Dept. work correctly and efficiently in order to avoid operational risk (especially settlement incidents)
*When needed, the manager may propose to amend the operational flow and to adapt the structure for an optimized organization
*Manages properly all staff in the Dept. and keeps the environment in the Dept. regulated
*Back up of the staff when required
*Investigates and regularizes all external / internal problems and inquiries related to all processing done by Market operations dept
*Participates in various projects (on-going or incoming ones) related to the Back Office
