Company Description

German-based trading company with a strict international focus. At the end of 2003, the company was represented with 475 outlets in a total of 26 countries

Responsibilities

*Establishing and maintaining of close relationships to relevant, national and international advertising, media and event agencies

*Support regarding CD/CI, layout, selection etc. of METRO mail

*Supervision and organization of corporate events and advertising

*Professional cost control and management, meaning cost efficiency with regard to corporate and own brand advertising

Requirements

*University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Business administration, marketing or communications studies (ideally with focus on marketing) or comparable studies

Preferred Experience

*Excellent expertise in people management
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*Excellent ability to implement strategies and concepts

Desired Traits

*Excellent expertise in marketing, especially in strategic brand management

*Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
*Must be fluent in Japanese; if he / she does not speak Japanese, must be willing to learn Japanese
