Responsibilities
The main responsibilities are to provide the main “technical” software competence on all platforms provided to customers in Japan. This position will assist the customer projects by being the software interface to third party and customer teams involved with software development in the region
* Provide technical information to customers, pre- and post sales organizations.
* An engineering support role located close to the customer, in the same region and time zone, proficient in local language and culture
* Reporting to: Customer SWOL, CPO Team leaders and to local office management
Requirements
* Experience in software development with C/C++. Good programming skills.
* Ability to take own initiatives
* Fluent in Japanese, both verbal and written.
* Medium English skill, both verbal and written.
* Practical knowledge of software development tools and the following office programs, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Have a strong sense of urgency and customer focus, being personally motivated to complete tasks within give deadlines
Preferred Experience
Preferred:
* Experience of development for embedded systems
* Experience of customer contacts
