Responsibilities

*Act as a liaison among business users and stakeholders to discuss needs, validate requirements and consider possible changes to business processes and systems
*Relay requirements to technical staff and turn business requirements into technical requirements
*Provide training and mentoring for business analysts in BA and SA best practices in areas such as Business Process Reengineering

Requirements

*Must have an understanding of application programming, databases and system architecture/design
*Must have some understanding of infrastructure aspects including networks and servers
*An understanding of how different systems work with each other
*Excellent communication skills both on a business and technical level
*Some understanding of both English and Japanese is necessary
*A proactive and forward thinking mind with a keen eye for new practices and an interest in improving business processes
