Finance in new fund management team

Responsibilities

*Development and implementation of the fund finance operations platform in support of the AP investment management strategy

*Lead project team to define, implement, and document new finance operating processes and systems

*Establish project work plan and monitor deliverables, risks, assumptions, metrics/scorecards, staffing needs, and operating budgets

*Assess cost-benefit of outsourcing opportunities vs in-sourcing of fund operations

*Establish accounting controls and reporting to comply with US GAAP, IFRS and local accounting / statutory requirements

Requirements

*BA/BS in finance, real estate, or equivalent
*Minimum 6-10 yrs of finance, fund operations, and/or asset management experience
*Strong project management leadership skills or acquisition integration experience required
*Strong relationship management and influencing skills
*Experience with Oracle Financials, Hyperion, Dyna, and/or Atlas required
*Proactive team player
*Fluency in English and Japanese preferred
*Previous EFLP / CAS / FMP grad
*Previous Quality experience desired, BB/MBB certified
*Some travel required

Preferred Experience
