This innovator in global finance serves the financial needs of corporations, governments and municipalities, institutional clients, and high net worth individuals worldwide. This firm maintains leadership positions in equity and fixed income sales, trading and research, investment banking, private investment management, asset management and private equity. The firm operates in a network of offices around the world.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for approval of day-to-day, month-to-month capital adequacy ratio calculations
*Cover actual day-to-day calculation
*Responsible for daily/ monthly legal entity controller task
*Responsible for reviewing monthly regulatory reporting under local GAAP, and reviewing monthly Dashboard meeting material
*Responsible for leading various projects, in terms of accounting, capital adequacy ratio calculation point of view
*Represent Financial Control in new business meetings in coordination with manager.
*Check regulatory concerns, accounting concerns, and capital concerns, and create posting pattern
*Supervise/ manage a team in Tokyo (approximately 5 members) and closely liaise with the Financial Control team offshore
Requirements
*Qualified local and/or international accountant with at least 7 years relevant industry experience
*Fluency in English and Japanese IS A MUST
*Good analytical, communication and problem solving skills
*Good PC skills
