Country Head required in a world leader in manufacturing plastic parts!

*Our client, who is a world leader in manufacturing plastic parts is looking for a Country Manager to establish their Operation in Japan
*They believe it can revolutionize theie industry in Japan, just as it has done elsewhere in the world

Responsibilities

* Create an initial market for product made in the USA and shipped to Japan by FEDEX
* Create direct marketing to the client, rather than using distributors and resellers
* Hire staff to build out the sales and marketing team
* Establish and office and systems to run the business
* Within 12-24 months establish a Greenfield factory to do the production work in Japan
* Continue to build the business into a major supplier to the Japan prototyping market

Requirements

* Either a native English-speaking foreigner with strong Japanese skills, or a Japanese candidate with a strong understanding of US business customs, who has primary and extensive experience in:
* Plastics prototyping or the plastics industry in general
* Direct marketed sales
* Running teams of up to 30 people
* A proven track record of sales achievement
* Ability to do a start-up (although experience may have been starting a department inside a larger firm)

* Reason for opening: New Position due to Business Expansion

* Remuneration: 20 to 25 Million Yen
