Company Description

My client is a leading European financial services firm with business lines in corporate and investment banking as well as investment management. The success of their business is dependant on a robust control framework and as such they are seeking a talented compliance professional to join the bank compliance team and also support the securities team.

Responsibilities

*Hold/assist Money Laundering Prevention Managers Meeting
*Maintenance of Compliance Manual
*Conduct appropriate control of Rules and Procedures
*Execute appropriate control for Personal Securities Dealing to avoid insider trading
*Execute/assist Compliance Desk Review
*Prepare compliance seminar
*Administrative work for FSA Inspection

Requirements

*Comprehensive knowledge of banking business and basic knowledge of securities business
*Basic knowledge of compliance/legal including Banking Law and Securities Exchange Law

Preferred Experience

*Reporting skill to the regulatory agencies
*Communication skill for use with internal clients/management

Desired Traits

*Native-level Japanese with strong command of English
*University degree
