Company Description

Business Intelligence software vendor (largest privately-held software company in the world)

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the regional sales objectives by managing and directing the pre-sales support activity across the business.

Contribute to the successful selling and installation of SAS solutions,including relationships development, setting team standards and providing coaching and technical advice to other team members

S/he will be taking a leading role in dealing with complex customer situations in the region/countries by analyzing customer's business goals, objectives, needs and the general business environment

Work with senior executives to sell value-based solutions and develop strategies and goals for their successful deployment

S/he will manage about 40 staffs

Requirements

*Typically a relevant tertiary qualification or being an expert in specialized solution with at least 12 years of relevant experience
*Thorough understanding of clients' business/industry issues, IT architecture and the interrelationships between SAS's services and products and those offered in the marketplace is required
*Possess expertise in specific solution area such as BSC,Mining, ETL; Experienced in SAS business, BI concept, various industry knowledge and IT Architecture design
*Excellent in converting business and user requirements into effective designs
*Excellent in identifying and analyzing business and user requirements
*Proven ability to engage in the development and closure business opportunities

Preferred Experience

*Excellent knowledge of data mining, data warehousing, ETL, and web application development

*Ability to influence and convince a compelling vision to senior management and executive
*Act as an expert with specialization in one or more solution areas
*Proven ability to engage in the development and closure business opportunities
*Strong communication skills in Japanese and English to work effectively within a multi-cultural organization and to share knowledge of the business
