Responsibilities
*To structure and arrange the medium/long term loan facility covered by the credit enhancement of ECAs (Export Credit Agencies).
*Provide the long term financing on limited recourse basis or acquisition finance for M&A related transactions
*To structure and arrange the ECA related finance.
*To support advisory and arranger work for limited recourse/acquisition finance to the Project, including preparation of presentation materials and the development of CF modeling/term sheet.
*Explain deal structures to the RMs of Borrower/Supplier
*Support the operational section for the implementation or administration
*To support the other PEF teams outside Japan and other product teams
*Corporate and Institutional Banking relationship management for execution of sales strategy and obtain business support for transactions.
*Interact with Credit Officer for approvals on Syndication and Asset Sales
Administration and operational departments for coordination of loan processing and booking.
*Work closely with Finance and/or Business Department of Japanese trading companies, exporters and project sponsors.
*Interact with Export Credit Agencies, Multilateral Funding Agencies, Overseas Development Agencies
*Private sector credit risk insurers
*Managing relationships with corporate and financial institutional customers, other banks and financial institutions
Requirements
*Basic ECA product knowledge and OECD Consensus understanding
*Basic knowledge of Project Financing transactions
*Macro economic experience and country risk knowledge covering commercial, political, legal environment
*Sound credit analysis skills relating to corporate, sovereign and bank debt particularly with regard to medium term cross border lending
*Basic knowledge and understanding of loan documentation and the structure of agreements relative to structured export finance and cross border term lending
*Moderate written and presentational skills
*Sales, marketing and negotiation skills
*Computer skills relating to spread sheet, wording processing and presentational applications
