This firm is one of the world’s largest money managers, providing structured investment strategies such as indexing, risk-controlled active products, and exchange traded funds to investors worldwide.

Responsibilities

*Responsible for ensuring that the daily post trade activities including trade processing of international/domestic equity and fixed income products, corporate actions, proxy voting, forward and spot FX, and OTC derivatives are carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible in accordance within the guidelines of the firm and in line with law and regulations
*Working with other teams to ensure components of new investment products and processes are rolled out on time and on budget
*Work closely with other business areas (Investments, Project Management Office, and Client Relations) to ensure a high quality of service and client satisfaction
*Post trade activities such as confirmation matching and sending instructions to trust banks and custodian of all accounts
*Cleansing CA information and provide data to Investment Group
*Maintaining investment book of record and accounting book of record
*Driving the roll out of new derivative processing platform in Tokyo
*Participating in strategic initiatives (product, and business) that impact the Transaction Support Services activities
*Partnering with the Investment Group and Project Management Office in rolling out new business strategies including new client and fund types
*Managing several teams which are consisting of up to 20 individuals

Requirements

*Currently holds a similar position at an investment management firm
*Holds a significant amount of expertise and knowledge regarding both international and domestic security settlement, corporate actions, and OTC derivatives
*In depth knowledge of the investment products/strategies, Securities Law and Financial Instruments and Exchange Law as the related to post trade activities
*Creative and proactive thinker who takes initiative
*Ability to identify risk situations and provide solutions
*Execution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills: decisive yet collaborative communication style
*People energizer/motivator who can develop talent
