This firm is one of the world’s largest money managers, providing structured investment strategies such as indexing, risk-controlled active products, and exchange traded funds to investors worldwide
Responsibilities
*Corporate Actions event information management
*Receiving the corporate actions event notification for the global markets from trust banks, custodians, vendors and cleanse them within the in-house corporate actions system
*Investigation of event details with the internet, custodians, vendors, etc.
*Instruction management for Voluntary Corporate Actions
*Forwarding the investment decisions on voluntary events to the relevant trust banks, custodians, prime brokers and lending borrowers
*Corporate Actions transactions processing
*Updating holdings based on the corporate actions events for the in-house data retention system to keep investment balance of record and Pleiades for fund accounting
*Coordinating booking instructions for Investment Trust funds
*Instructing the booking timing to the trustee
*Lending Claim management
*Confirming the entitlement positions with the lending borrowers and instruct for the voluntary corporate actions
*Place the dividend claims where applicable
*Communicate with the custodian and keep the control status on claims
*Income Processing
*Processing Government bonds and RMBS redemptions for the in-house data retention systems and Pleiades
*Trade / Loan restriction management
*Apply and control the market trade restriction in corporate actions system
*Communicate with Securities Lending team and restrict the loan position movement or recall the necessary positions from the brokers
*System Enhancement and other projects participation
*In order to minimize the operational risks or efficiency gain purpose, request the in-house systems’ enhancement when necessary
Requirements
*Experience in Operations area in a Asset Management, Custodian bank or Securities company
*Good team player
* Applicable Experience:
