Global Real Estate Investment Company Seeking Corporate Accounting Manager


*Our client is a leading global developer and operator of industrial real estate with offices in North America, Europe and Asia
*Seeking a dynamic Corporate Accounting Manager with the ambition to take on long-term responsibility within a close team

Responsibilities

*Responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting, including monthly to year-end book close reviewing general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll activities
*Corporate income tax filing as well as other compliance matters
*Supervise and train A/P and A/R Accountants
*Ensure that income statement and balance sheet are in accordance with Japan and US accounting standards
*Account for third party loans and loans between affiliates
*Correspondence with Internal Auditors on Sarbanes-Oxley testing
*Assist VP of Japan FM&R and Assistant Controller with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

Requirements

*Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
*Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
*Prior supervisory experience
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
*Native level Japanese
