Transaction Team Analyst

Transaction team analyst in one of the largest international banking networks

One of the largest international banking networks, with strong positions in Asia and a significant presence in the United States, this European bank has operations in nearly 90 countries. The company and its many subsidiaries specialize in retail banking, corporate and investment banking, and asset management.

Responsibilities

*Simulation of credit and market risks on exotic transactions
*Calculating initial margin amounts for hedge fund transactions
*Calculating credit charges for structured transactions
*Analysis and review of securitisation structures / transactions
*Analysing and reviewing non-vanilla, exotic transactions and facilitate their risk management and approval
*Liaising with internal functions (Legal, Compliance, Finance etc) to discuss transactions / clients and promote a holistic approach to risk management
*Briefing management on issues which may require their attention
*Co-ordinating Transaction Approval Committees
*Negotiating credit / market risk terms for legal documentation with clients
*Assisting in the reporting of various non-vanilla risks
*Ensuring Risk Capital Markets policies and procedures are followed

Requirements

*University degree
*Fluent English
*1-5 years experience in market/credit risk management in the financial industry
*Have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, combined with the ability to work well under pressure
