Responsibilities
*Responsible for maintaining the entire facility with staffing, training, and compensation and benefits.
*Develop HR policy and procedures in collaboration with HR Director, Asia Pacific.
*Directs the work of other HR Representatives or personnel and serves as a mentor to them as the organization grows in size.
* Work closely with other departmental managers as a good business partner to provide full HR support to ensure business and operational goals are achieved.
* Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, learning to consider alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions and developing communication skills
Requirements
* 5+ years of progressive job-related experience.
* Good understanding of the various benefit packages available to employees.
* Familiar with practices, procedures and regulations associated with employee recruitment and selection.
* Must be familiar with Japanese Employment Law.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
* Excellent English communication skills

* Potential to become Country HR Manager as the business grows in Japan.
* The position works independently, requires little or no guidance and review of activities is required only after completion, if at all.
