Responsibilities

*Maintaining 2 sets of General Ledger, one for HO (that will run for the period of Jul to Jun) and one for Local Reporting (that will run for the period of Apr to Mar)
*HO reporting, including preparation of commentaries on monthly/quarterly/annual basis
*Liaising with outside tax consultants for the preparation of Tax Returns
*Liaising with external auditors relating to required audit work
*Preparing commentaries and lots of interaction with Sydney, Hong Kong, and Singapore

Requirements

*6 years experience in financial industries (banks preferred)
*Access database
*Strong technical accounting skills across financial markets products
*Knowledge of Japanese tax
*Exposure to auditors
*Strong awareness of front to back process
*IFRS knowledge preferred
*CPA qualification preferred
