*Reputable Real Estate firm seeks experienced Asset Manager

*Our client is a reputable and diverse foreign affiliated real estate firm in Japan
*As the premier pioneer of real estate consulting in Japan, the company develops, invests in and manages real estate projects for global corporations.
*The real estate asset management arm of the Group was established more than 50 years ago. It provides institutional-level real estate asset management services in the Japan market
*The current directive of this growing firm is to support the deployment of more than 60 billion yen of funds for residential property investment in Japan

Responsibilities

*Aim to reach asset investment objective
*Maximize financial performance of properties
*Establish and achieve annual targets
*Provide timely, accurate reports, delegations of authority, etc.
*Monitor/oversee property revenue, occupancy levels, operating expenses and capex
*Develop/implement business plan for each asset including developing, preparing and tracking budgets

Requirements

*Experience in real estate asset management
*Knowledge of Tokyo and other major Japanese city markets and market practices
*Understanding of SPC investment structures (TK-GK/TMK)
*Team player, motivated, attentive to detail
*Strong verbal and written presentation skills
*Good reporting skills
*Strong computer skills
*Experience of property operation in real estate firms, trust banks, construction companies or property management firms valued
*Experience of securitization and structured finance preferred
*A holder of one of the following licenses is preferred: Certified Real Estate Appraiser or MAI, Real Estate Broker’s License (Takken Shunin-sha), Architect License, Real Estate Consulting Technician (Fudosan Consulting Ginoshi), BMEE (Kenchiku Setsubishi)
*Native level Japanese and Business level English

* Reason for opening: New Position due to Business Expansion

* Remuneration: 12 to 15 Million Yen

* Benefits: *Up to 15 Million Yen depending on skills and experience
