Accounting Manager

Growing Retail company wants a Accounting Manager!!

This privately owned Italian apparel company distributes the popular brands. They were founded in Japan in 2003 and have a small and growing operation with about 35 full time staff and a casual, fashionable, creative, and energetic corporate culture

Responsibilities

*Report to the CFO in Japan as well as communicate with regional head office in Hong Kong and worldwide head office in Italy
*Manage one junior accounting staff focused on accounts payable
*Oversee all bookkeeping, general ledger, financial reporting, closing, and accounts receivable
*Liaise with external tax consultants & auditors
*Support CFO for budgeting and financial analysis

Requirements

*8+ yrs experience in finance, acctng, and related fields incl. work in a multinational company
*Business level Eng & native level Jpns language skills
*US CPA or similar qualification preferred
*Experience in retail or apparel industry is a plus

* Reason for opening: New Position due to Business Expansion

* Desired Attributes:
-8–10 years experience in finance, accounting, and/or related fields including work in a multinational company
-Business level English & native level Japanese language skills
-Self-starter, hands-on, team player with strong communication skills

* Remuneration: 8 to 10 Million Yen
