Company Description

A hands-on start-up role as business partner to the GM and USHQ, in a well-established business

*US-based manufacturing company operating in niche market with wide range of major clients
*Established in Japan in 1965, with ambitions to double current revenue figures within 5 years
*45 staff in Japan, including manufacturing and engineering facilities
*International workforce and long-term potential for Japan to become Regional HQ

Responsibilities

*Report to President and US HQ
*Monthly closing and reporting
*Identify accounting/finance issues and provide solution
*Support senior management from accounting/finance viewpoint
*Planning & control of budget
*Manage internal controls and audit processes
*Tax filing and liaison with Tax authorities

Requirements

*Native-level Jpns and Business-level Eng
*Minimum 3 years of experience of Finance leadership in a multi-national organisation
*In-depth knowledge of Japan’s tax system & regulations

* Remuneration: 9 to 11 Million Yen
