Responsibilities
*Primary Asia support contact for daily end user Sales system issues
*Escalation point for Asia IT helpdesk and infrastructure teams with incidents impacting the Sales environment
*Handling routine maintenance of Sales applications, such as start and end of day ready-for-business processing checks
*Installation, configuration, and administration of business applications for Asia salespeople and sales assistants
*Real-time monitoring, troubleshooting and remediation of events and system faults
*Root cause analysis and reporting of incidents
*Escalation of unresolved problems to Tokyo-based Sales development and infrastructure engineering groups in IT
*Automation of support processes, tools development and ad-hoc script writing as required
Requirements
*End user communication expertise using written/spoken English and Japanese
*Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows XP operating environments
*Application, infrastructure and/or user support experience in a trading environment
*Proficiency with a scripting language such as Shell, Perl, VB
*Familiar with Fixed Income business concepts such as cash bonds, interest rate and credit derivatives
