Accounting Manager at Leading Consumer Products Company

Company Description

*Leading consumer products company with 150 staff and revenue of over US $150 million in Japan looking for a talented Accounting Manager to join their team and oversee the general accounting function

Responsibilities

*Report to CFO and manage a team of 2 – 3 accountants
*Supervise all day-to-day general accounting functions
*Monthly, quarterly, annual closing
*Financial reporting to US headquarters
*Liaise with external auditors
*Manage tax filing and liaise with external tax consultants

Requirements

*8+ years experience in accounting
*Knowledge of US GAAP experience
*Experience managing a small team
*Business level English and native Japanese language skills
*Bookkeeping 2nd Grade or equivalent qualification preferred

Additional Notes

Remuneration:
*Up to 9 million yen depending on skills and experience
