Responsibilities
*Daily processing for OTC, FX and Repo margin programs. Expedite the daily processing of margin agreements
*Data entry
*Client reporting execution of margin calls
*Execution of collateral asset movements
*Control of collateral positions and corporate action processing
*New businesses
*General communication with clients, credit, operations, front office, legal and product controllers
*Investigate and resolve problems that occur for all collateral programs
*Continuous improvement of daily processing to increase efficiency
*Implement strategic system changes for Asia, working with a global project management team for collateral management
*Provide business continuity planning support
*Establish new operational workflow to meet local new business requirements, working with the other operations locally as well as global collateral management teams
*Report exceptions in the margin call process
*Improve the daily processing tasks in order to add value to collateral management.
Requirements
*Knowledge of financial instruments.
*University degree.
*Experience in derivative processing and custody processing.
*3-5 years experience in investment banking operations.
*1-2 years experience in collateral management preferred
*Experience in ISDA documentation preferred.
*Ability to cope well in a changing environment.
*Flexibility.
*Decision making.
*Analysis skills.
*Native level Japanese with business level English.
*Computer literate.
*Microsoft packages essential.
*Knowledge of visual basic and Bloomberg preferred.
