Company Description
Our client is a market leader in microchips manufacturing. They have many different kinds of chips for use in automobiles, computers, industrial equipment, wireless communications and networking equipment, and other applications
This position offers a great opportunity for someone with strong skills in procurement to lead and manage a successful and growing team
Responsibilities
*Manage a team of 5 staff to handle purchasing duties and develop supply chain strategies
*Negotiation and building relationships with suppliers
*Work closely with Design Research Center, global suppliers and internal sites globally
*Demonstrated ability to collaborate, implement supplier performance management
Requirements
*Experience in leading a global business team and ability to achieve cost reduction goals
*More than 10 years of experience in purchasing
*More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain
*Native Japanese with business/advanced level English
*University graduate
*Knowledge of the commodities in of electrical components and assemblies, gases, chemicals and final manufacturing materials is a plus

Remuneration:
Up to 15 million yen depending on skills and experience
