Company Description
*Growing European firm is looking for an energetic candidate who has knowledge of IR Derivatives. Non-Japanese speaker welcome.
Responsibilities
*Ensure timely validation and affirmation of all trades in the business
*Ensure all reconciliations and reports in the area are complete and signed off on a timely basis
*Responsible for the integrity of all curve data, underlying assets, trade booking, trade maintenance and appropriate reconciliations
*Reconciliation of system P&L to flash P&L on a T0 basis
*Maintenance and development of the control environment to minimize losses by eradicating errors and avoiding reputational risk
*Support different requirements for Traders, Salespersons, and Structuring teams
*Close liaison with the trading floor to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of trader queries, seen as valued advisor and technical expert
*Work closely with other Operation functions and other infrastructure groups
*Work hands on to develop new systems and process solutions where gaps are identified
Requirements
*Understand and book all relevant derivative and hedging products
*Understanding the business cash flows and ensuring that these are properly funded on a daily basis
*Understand System P&L process and basic P&L decomposition for products and systems used
*Understanding of the front to back Operations process to include the key elements of confirmations and settlements
*PC literate and preferably proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and MS Access
*Self motivated with good interpersonal skills
*Team Player, Creative and reliable
*Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

*up to 12Million Yen base depending on skills and experience
