Strategic Financial Controller - Supply Chain & Logistics

Company Description

*One of the largest global pharmaceutical companies is looking to strengthen their finance team in Japan
*This company stocks supermarket shelves with its nutritional consumer brands yet produces many life-saving drugs on the medical side
*Currently, looking for a dynamic Senior Analyst to supervise staff and maintain internal relations

Responsibilities

*Lead development of planning and analysis for local operation, incorporating business strategy outlined by the directors
*Monitor department budgets, maintain effective internal budget controls (plan/update), and ensure compliance with code of conduct
*Provide financial analytical support to the director and managers, and analyze business issues and suggest alternatives clearly demonstrating pros and cons of each scenario
*Maintain the database and records related to department financials and ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting
*Coordinate and manage external and internal audit requirements efficiently with logical explanations/demonstrations in order to expedite the audit process

Requirements

*Bachelor degree
*2 – 3 years of experience in financial control
*Excellent PC skill (Excel Macro/Access/Power Point etc)
*Experience in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, consumer goods, or related industry preferred
*Advanced English, native Japanese language skills

Additional Notes

Remuneration:
*Up to 9 million yen depending on skills and experience
