This client is the world’s number one insurance provider within their chosen field
Responsibilities
*Be at the centre of developing a large and dynamic IT department from scratch
*Design, plan, develop, implement and then support the company’s infrastructure
*Work on global projects with the company’s global HQ as well as vendors
*Provide support to the internal users in a timely manner
*Be responsible for backup operations and disaster recovery
Requirements
*Good communication skills in both English and Japanese
*A broad and solid understanding of typical internal IT infrastructure systems
*Experience in analyzing problems and then creating and implementing solutions to them
*Experience managing projects desirable
*Experience coordinating with global company branches on multinational projects preferred but not required
*Experience with the following technologies advantageous: Cisco products, Windows Server, EMC SAN, VMWare, IT Security, IP Technology, Microsoft OS/Software
