Responsibilities
*Be responsible for maintaining networks, servers, telecommunications and desktop systems hosted in the company head office and Japanese retail outlets
*Help with design, installation, configuration, testing, implementation and troubleshooting of networks/telecoms equipment
*Work with global head office IT members to enhance systems
*Occasionally offer out-of-hours support to avoid damaging production and service delivery
Requirements
*Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English required
*Experience with routers, switches, WAN, wireless equipment, Firewalls, Network Security and VPNs necessary
*Experience with Cisco/Nortel equipment desireable
*An understanding of IS SOPs, network maintenance and disaster recovery required
*Windows based server experience, including Active Directory and MS Exchange necessary
